It is the mission of Down South Swing to promote and preserve authentic American Jazz Dance including the Charleston, Lindy Hop, Balboa, Blues, and vernacular jazz. Therefore we endeavor to inspire, educate and empower the communities we are fortunate enough to serve through demonstrations, classes, workshops, and performance opportunities for all levels.

Down South Swing is centered on creating communities of dancers, something we believe to be not only a benefit--but a necessity--for a healthy society.
